Crystal reports crosstab add column to oracle
I figured out how to create the report I needed without the cross tab. Something went wrong on our end. There is a known issue with certain versions of Crystal Reports where the application is unable to open and browse tables and fields through an ODBC connection. Otherwise, click Finish to continue the data source selection wizard. The identification of links between tables enables Crystal Reports to automatically lookup and summarize information based on all the tables in the database according to your query. You will be asked to select a data source.
I have a crosstab report (CR version) with fields like follows: item bgt amt Jun Jul Aug total used book 5 20 20 45 magazine I have an existing cross-tab report.

I want to add more columns with formulas. Want it to display.

The parameters will not show any field values until after the Command has been run. In the Database Expert, add a Table or Command that it can be shown as if it were a cross-tab without actually using a cross-tab.

Crystal Reports keeps open too many Oracle DB sessions when running the report.
I have Crystal XI. The cross tab would have looked nicer, but I don't think it's possible to accomplish what I want in the CR version that I have. I am very new in the Crystal report.

Calculated member feature is in Crystal which allow you to add additional columns or rows in the cross tab. Don't have an account? Question feed.
Insert the formula in grp footer 1b and crosstab in grp footer1a.
You can now select the columns and rows that to include within the Cross-Tab report.
